Modern Slavery Statement
Modern Slavery Statement
Last updated: 6/03/2025
Zyfty is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place within our business or supply chains. We take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.
This statement outlines the steps we are taking to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chain, in line with the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Our Business
Zyfty is an eCommerce retailer based in the UK, offering a wide range of products, including home goods, electronics, and more. We work with various suppliers and manufacturers, both in the UK and internationally, to source our products. We are committed to ensuring that the products we sell are ethically sourced, and that the people involved in the production and supply of those products are treated fairly and with respect.
Our Commitment
Zyfty is committed to maintaining high standards of business ethics and integrity. We are committed to:
- Promoting fair labour practices: Ensuring that our employees and those of our suppliers work in environments where they are treated with dignity and respect, are fairly compensated, and are not subject to forced, bonded, or child labour.
- Preventing human trafficking: Ensuring that no person is coerced or deceived into work through trafficking or exploitation.
- Transparency in our supply chain: Regularly reviewing our supply chain to ensure that we are working with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical practices.
Due Diligence Processes
To prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains, we have implemented a number of due diligence processes:
- Supplier Code of Conduct: We require all of our suppliers to adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct, which prohibits the use of forced, compulsory, or child labour and sets expectations for fair wages, working hours, and working conditions.
- Risk Assessments: We conduct regular risk assessments to identify any potential risks of modern slavery within our supply chain. This includes reviewing the practices of new suppliers and re-evaluating existing suppliers annually.
- Supplier Audits: We may carry out supplier audits to ensure compliance with our policies on human rights, including adherence to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act.
- Training: We provide regular training for our employees and suppliers to raise awareness of modern slavery issues, helping them to identify and address potential concerns.
Our Suppliers
Zyfty works with a range of suppliers globally. We are committed to selecting suppliers that demonstrate ethical practices and a commitment to preventing modern slavery. We engage with our suppliers regularly to ensure that they understand our standards and are compliant with relevant laws.
We require our suppliers to complete self-assessment questionnaires and/or participate in third-party audits that evaluate their practices related to modern slavery. If any supplier is found to be non-compliant with our standards, we will work closely with them to remedy the issue or, if necessary, terminate our relationship.
Our Employees
We are committed to fair employment practices and ensure that all our employees are treated with dignity and respect. We provide training on modern slavery and human trafficking, and ensure that they understand their rights and the company’s commitment to ethical practices.
Looking Forward
We will continue to monitor and improve our processes for preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains. This includes ongoing risk assessments, supplier engagement, and ensuring that our practices comply with the Modern Slavery Act.
